Alclad / A-STAND – Steel

NOTE: The company Alclad and HR Hobbies have merged into A-STAND. It is still the same product of course. Only the name has changed.

Extremely high quality metallic paint that is perfect to obtain the typical metallic aspect of steel. This color is airbrush ready, no thinning necessary. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use! Spray at 12-15psi and from a distance of at least 5 centimetres from the surface in light misted coats. The surfaces to be painted must be thoroughly clean and free from dust, grease, oil and fingerprints. Gentle polishing with a micromesh will improve the final finish.

Basecoat: To achieve the most reflective finish, we recommend using Alclad Metallic Lacquers over a Gloss Black Base.

Topcoat: We advise to use Aqua Gloss as sealer, this product will not dull the metallic shine.
