Build your own Leon’s Hatchet from Resident Evil Requiem with this free EVA foam pattern. Designed for cosplay and display, this lightweight yet sturdy tomahawk prop captures the rugged survival aesthetic of the game while remaining convention-friendly.
Cut two mirrored axe sides from 7mm UHD foam. Insert a strong rod between both halves and glue them together using contact glue to create a rigid internal structure.
The grey lines on the pattern indicate where the bevels begin. Shape these areas carefully with a sharp knife and sanding tools to achieve the correct blade geometry.
Once assembled, prime the entire prop with your preferred foam primer. Apply metallic finishes using CosPaint metallics to achieve a realistic steel effect, and protect the final result with Lukas varnish for durability.
