This ultra-high density EVA foam is Cosplayshop.be’s own brand of foam. It is developed and designed especially for cosplay, theatre and more. This type of hard foam is excellent for making props without the need of internal support. It can also be used at places that require extra strength, reinforcement, durability or stability.
While this foam is very dense and resistant, the material is still made to be easy to work with. It can be easily cut, sanded, carved and so much more. The ultra-high density also gives it great heat shaping abilities.

De kracht van EVA foam is dat je er bijna alles mee kunt bouwen, zonder dat je portemonnee pijn te doen. Bovendien is het ook erg licht en flexibel, maar toch duurzaam en sterk. Het is echter cruciaal om het juiste foam voor uw specifiek project te selecteren. De twee belangrijkste aspecten waarmee rekening moet worden gehouden bij het kiezen, zijn dichtheid en dikte.
DICHTHEID
Dichtheid wordt meestal aangegeven met een bepaalde waarde (bijvoorbeeld: 100 kg). Simpel gezegd: hoe hoger de dichtheid, hoe minder lucht er in de foam aanwezig is. Dit betekent dat de foam met een hogere dichtheid zwaarder is, maar ook een stuk steviger.
